Naomi: Junior Account Executive
I’ve always enjoyed writing and reading glossy magazines, so it was no surprise that as I grew older, I was drawn to a Journalism degree.

Knowing the importance of having hands on experience, whilst studying I completed placements at STAR and The Yorkshire Evening Post, before building up a wealth of experience and contacts after university by interning at GLAMOUR, FashionInsight.co.uk and Wahanda.com. With a bulging contacts book and portfolio of published work, I then worked at a contract publishing company that specialised in hair and beauty and quickly realised that PR rather than journalism would allow me to merge my writing skills with client interaction. I had found my calling!

With my eyes opened to the world of PR, I initially started working at Unleashed Potential on a part-time basis. Then after demonstrating a strong track record of delivering results, when an opportunity arose to join the UP team in a full-time role, I jumped at the chance!
