Editorial Secured On Cosmopolitan.co.uk Helps Client’s Sales Rocket

Getting our clients’ brands in the media is always a key goal, but ultimately we understand that it’s not just enhancing awareness that’s important – boosting the bottom line is fundamental too. That’s why we’re delighted that the editorial we secured for our beauty client Éminence Organic Skincare boosted online sales by 67% in just two days!

After pitching original ideas to top consumer website Cosmopolitan.co.uk (which boasts a staggering 11 million unique users per month), they were delighted to go ahead. So we sourced the expert tips from the President of Éminence, Boldjiarre Koronczay, wrote the feature and submitted ready for publishing.

The feature, entitled ‘The big difference between hormonal and cystic acne’ provided Boldijarre’s expert advice for acne prone skin and included FIVE Éminence products recommendations with multiple links directed to the client’s ecommerce site.

As well as being a huge hit on Cosmopolitan’s website where it was shared 230 times in a matter of hours, it also proved popular when posted on social media to the magazine’s 324,000 Twitter followers and 1,270,390 Facebook fans.

This saw 97% more new users visiting the website in just 48 hours resulting in hundreds of pounds worth of additional sales all directly attributed to that feature.

We’re delighted that our work has had such a positive uplift in revenue in such a short space of time but we won’t be resting on our laurels. A new wave of profit-boosting features to promote a forthcoming product launch is already underway, so watch this space!
