Breakfast with Beverley: UP Host Exciting Press Day with MIZANI’s New Celebrity Ambassador

Picture the scene: one luxury hotel, one jam-packed suite full of the industry’s most influential beauty journalists and one flawless celebrity ambassador at the forefront of the room. Sound like a brand’s dream event? Well this vision became a reality for our client last week, as L’Oréal MIZANI once again enlisted our trusty team to organise and successfully run a hotly anticipated press day to celebrate the launch of Beverley Knight as the new face of their hair products.

There wasn’t a spare seat in sight at the coveted Rosewood London hotel, as top beauty journalists from glossy, weekly and online publications relaxed and awaited their interview time with the Queen of British soul – eager to discuss all things hair and beauty with the immaculately polished ambassador. As each interview took place, more and more of our #BeverleyBreakfast hashtags began to surface across the various social media platforms – causing somewhat of a stir amongst beauty addicts and fans alike. Managing all aspects of the event (including the tough task of short-listing the mouth-watering canapés!) the UP team pulled together to ensure the day was seamlessly run and professional throughout.

Receiving compliment after compliment for our choice of ambassador, event venue and overall organisation, a good day was had by all – with key editorial coverage being secured across influential titles such as Cosmopolitan Online – within hours of the event. With many more juicy features in the pipeline, we’ve got a busy few weeks ahead of us…and with the media hype we’ve had surrounding this year’s event, we’re already excited to start planning next year’s extravaganza!
